Which is better: a tablet computer like the iPad or a dedicated eBook reader? The conclusion in this article is that, for reading books, there is no contest. The reason is nothing to do with screen resolution, storage capacity, or anything else technical; it’s purely human. Apart from the device chosen, other factors not immediately obvious but decidedly annoying play a significant role in the cost of owning any electronic book reader.
